I love food!
I'm not much of a cook, but here are a few of mine and my family's favorite meals that I cook.
Super Easy Chicken and Rice
This is my husbands favorite and it's so quick and easy
1 can of Cream of Chicken soup (I like the Reduced Fat version, trying to cut calories and fat where I can)
1 can of water
2 cans of white meat chicken (I don't have time to cook chicken breast and this stuff is already cut up for ya)
2 cups of Minute Rice
Empty 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup into a medium sauce pan and mix with 1 can of water. Add a little salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil.
While your waiting for the soup to boil, open and drain your chicken.
Once your soup is boiling, add 2 cups of rice and stir and reduce heat to LOW
Once your rice is mixed well, add 2 cans of chicken and stir.
Keep on LOW heat for a few minutes to warm the chicken while you are continually stirring to make sure the rice on the bottom of the pan doesn't burn.
I usually serve with croissants and broccoli.
Serves my family of 4 usually with no leftovers.
