Shopping and Partying...What a day

So Saturday started off way too early for me, but we had things to do.

Those things would be hitting the outlet for some good ol' retail therapy.  The North Georgia Premium Outlets are about 2 hours from our house so we had to get on the road if we wanted to get some shopping done.  So why drive 2 hours for shopping?  The hubs worked for a clothing company, PVH and employees get a serious discount of 40% off at the stores that PVH owns.  Since the hubs no longer works for that company, we only have the discount until the end of the year.  This would be our last shopping trip.  We took full advantage to the already great deals that you get at the outlets, plus our additional 40%.
We may have went a little over-board

My greatest shopping purchase for the day would have to be the SIZE 6 skinny jeans.  I'm not a huge fan of skinny jeans, for one the hubs hates them and thinks women look ridiculous in them, and two I have thick legs and a butt so skinny jeans have, in the past not fit me well.  I loved the way these fit me so much that I bought 2 pair, one in black and another in an electric blue color.  I have one pair of skinny blue jeans, and they are a size 11 so I was absolutely ecstatic when I tried on an 8 and they were too big.  So size 6 it is then.  I finally feel skinny.  It was so nice to go shopping and actually feel good in the clothes that I am trying on and want to buy them.  I bought about 15 different shirts and all size small!!!

After a marathon shopping experience it was back home and off to the hubs company Christmas party.  We got all dressed up.  I even put on make up and curled my hair.
You'd never know it because I let drunk people take our picture.  This is all the proof that we clean up well.

It was held at a hotel near the Atlanta Airport which was very nice.  The fountain in the middle of the hotel.

We ended up getting to the party late and left early.  It wasn't exactly a great party.  The buffet was lacking and singing karaoke is not my idea of quality entertainment for a Christmas Party.  And since the hubs has only been with the company a few months, he still doesn't know a lot of people.

He did win a gift card to Longhorn's, so I see another date night in our future.
